Policies

Booking
Full prepayment with a valid credit card is required to secure all reservations.

For most weekends of the year, we have a two-night minimum for weekend stays. One night weekday stays are welcome year-round.

Our rates are based on double occupancy. Our Standard Double rooms can sleep 4 adults, and each additional guest (beyond the included 2) is $15/night.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A GROUP/EVENT BOOKING, PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY. (A HOTEL BUYOUT IS REQUIRED FOR GROUPS LARGER THAN 4 ROOMS/8 PEOPLE).

When you book, your credit card is securely kept on file under your reservation. We require a card to be held on file during your stay (retail purchases, damages). If you would like to change this card or if your card has expired, please let us know We reserve the right to assess and charge for any damages, missing items or excessive cleaning fees.

Cancellations

No one likes to cancel plans, but it does happen.  We try to have a system policy that is fairly flexible for the guest, but also is understanding that last-minute cancellations really affect other guests from booking rooms. Being a small, family-owned hotel, cancellations have a large effect on us, unlike hotel chains and larger properties.

Reservations must be cancelled at least 21 days prior to arrival for a full refund of the deposit, less a $10 processing fee.

Cancellations made within 21 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Failure to arrive or early departure results in forfeiture of the full reservation amount.

Housekeeping
Stayover housekeeping is available upon request. Please notify us if you would like service during your stay.

Towel and linen reuse is encouraged for environmental sustainability.

Room Charges and Damages
Guests are responsible for any damages to furnishings or property, missing items, excessive cleaning needs, stains on linens or upholstery.

Applicable charges will be applied to the card on file.

Smoking
Vinchester Inn is a non-smoking property.
Smoking or vaping inside guest rooms, suites, or indoor common areas will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee.
Designated outdoor areas are available - please dispose of materials responsibly.

Quiet Hours
To preserve the relaxing atmosphere of the inn

Quiet Hours: 10:00pm - 8:00am

Excessive noise may result in warnings or removal from the property without refund.

Weapons Policy
To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, staff, and visitors, Vinchester Inn maintains the following weapons policy:
Firearms and other weapons are not permitted inside any buildings on the property, except as permitted by applicable Missouri law for authorized law enforcement officers.
Guests who are lawfully transporting firearms must ensure they remain secured and stored in accordance with Missouri law and not brought into buildings.

Alcohol Policy
Guests are welcome to enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly.
However:

  • No kegs or bulk alcohol

  • No underage drinking

  • No disruptive behavior

  • No public intoxication

    We reserve the right to refuse service or remove guests for violations.
